The End IS Near!

Oct 16, 2011 by

When there is a real change in thinking, and better reasoning is known, there is an end to something. What we end is ignorance. We stop changing for the sake of change, just to do something different, and consciously take a new course that is more reasonable.  I believe that the end of ignorance is near, and inevitable. It is closer than you think.

Gone will be the days when we blindly follow the direction of political party spokesman whether it be Nancy Pelosi or Newt Gingrich, or any other. We do not need movements or herding of any type that try to lead us astray from what we know to be reasonable. We are smart enough to recognize the politics of “rage”  to defeat reason or the controlling intentions of “hope”. Uncontrolled passion as a way of taking unreasonable action or the waiting for something to be done by others is over. The end is near.

Gone will be the days of allowing the government to usurp our God given rights. We are able to recognize the goal of any oppressor is to use policies to keep the people poor, ignorant, and in a constant state of fear. The end is near.

Gone will be the days when we are told that knocking someone down is a way to get ahead. We will not waste our talents on destroying others but use them to uplift, promote, and praise achievement and success. Our earnest efforts to create a better society will be rewarded by reaping financial success and then we will once again realize that giving back to our country is a natural way to demonstrate our appreciation for the opportunities it has afforded us. The end is near.

Gone will be the days when a committee of managers tells us whether we deserve appropriate healthcare. We will take back our right to make decisions concerning our life, making death by lack of caring never again an option. The end is near.

Gone will be the days when corporations use the market for their personal tool to extract our hard earned money. We will again have a market where consumers are sovereign and that all transaction will be equitable and not out of desperation or lack of choice. The end is near.

Gone will be the days of complacency and inaction. We will remember that this nation was built on people being problem solvers and innovators resulting in action benefiting the community. The end is near, and it is about time!

I have been speaking with a few of my friends on this very topic. Society is like a phoenix. When all burns down to rubble, the fires purify the imperfections and from those ashes, something beautiful and new is born. “We are able to recognize the goal of any oppressor is to use policies to keep the people poor, ignorant, and in a constant state of fear.” This very acknowledgment will be the downfall of such tyranny….. there is not turning back now for the righteous.

Everything would be so much easier if we got over our hostility towards one another and were accepting of our differences. If only we could get over our unreasonable fears…… people seem to have trouble thinking about the right thing to do… but I think Martin Luther King Jr. hit the nail on the head when he said “Justice is really love in application. Justice is love correcting that which would work against love. Standing beside love is always justice.”
