To Form A More Perfect Country?

There are no governmental structures that can be put into place that will protect the reasonable people from the unreasonable people. The Declaration of Independence and Constitution are wonderful documents but we, as a whole, have failed to uphold the principles contained in them. Unreasonable people simply ignore reason and the rule of law for their unfettered will. It is not possible for the reasonable people and unreasonable people to live together. Therefore, I propose countries should not be based on nationality, ethnicity, or ideologies, but on the degree of reason and character. We separate those who cannot reason and have a lack of character now. Prisons are built to contain those who commit crimes placing them in secure areas away from the general population. In 1788 Botany Bay, now Sydney Australia established a penal colony of undesirable Englishman.

People should be excited and willing to divide themselves into three main sections formed on their ability to reason and degree of character. Why would you not want to live with other people who act with the same virtue as you do? Why would you want to live with other people who do not share your character? Section one would be, by nature, people who are independent thinkers reasoning that: society is governed by the rule of law, the law is democratically legitimized by the people, change in the law is accomplished by amendments not by disregarding it, people are individual problem solvers not seekers of government solutions, tolerance of religious beliefs is necessary, but we are not forced to accept them or be influenced by them in the public arena. Section two would be, by nature, people who cannot live by the constructs of section one principles and are not violent. Section three would be, by nature, people who cannot live by the constructs of section one principles and are violent.

Is this a crazy idea?
